Los Angles County and the state of Ohio are the most up-to-date to ban flavored e-cigarettes, becoming a member of Massachusetts, Washington, Michigan and New York, along with San Francisco.

The LA ban includes flavored tobacco items, chewing tobacco and menthol cigarettes along with e-cigarettes, in accordance to the Connected Push.

The vote by the county’s Board of Supervisors was unanimous, inspite of objections from storekeepers and vaping advocates. The regulation goes into effect in 30 times and storeowners have 6 months to pull flavored merchandise from their shelves and apply for new licenses.

In Ohio, Gov. Mike DeWine has called for a regulation banning flavored vaping goods such as mint and menthol. The statewide ban would not affect tobacco-flavored products and solutions, CNN documented.

Equally LA and Ohio are reacting to the attraction flavored vaping products and solutions retains for teens and young adults. The growth of flavored vaping is mainly driven by their attraction to younger persons.

Also, vaping has been linked to 805 instances of severe lung injury all through the United States and at minimum 16 fatalities.
